Buying silicone sealant wholesale is not the same as buying stock items. A wholesale dealer quote is only as useful as the supply chain behind it. Silicone sealant is a chemistry business before it is a pricing business: the range has to cover the substrates your market sells into, the batch has to be traceable, and the paperwork has to match the shipment. This guide is written for importers and distributors who are qualifying bulk suppliers, and it uses one factory’s published terms as the working example.

What a wholesale range should look like
Silicone sealant is not one product. A distributor’s shelf is usually built from four cure and performance families, and each family covers different joints and substrates:
| Series | Models | Typical positions |
|---|---|---|
| Weatherproof and structural | 8 models | Curtain wall, structural glazing, window and door perimeters |
| Sanitary and home decoration | 3 models | Kitchen, bathroom, mirror, wet areas |
| Industrial and new energy | 3 models | Appliances, solar PV module frames, general assembly |
| Acetoxy | 3 models | Fast-cure glass and glazing work |
That is 17 models across four series. A wholesaler who cannot name the cure system behind each SKU is quoting you someone else’s range, not a specifiable one. Our full matrix is on the full silicone sealant range, with each model’s standard and packaging listed.
MOQ and lead time: the two numbers that disqualify most quotes
Wholesale terms are usually quoted as a single MOQ figure. In practice the minimum depends on order type, and the difference matters when you are planning a first container:
- OEM and private label — from 1,000 pcs per model, with your brand, artwork, colour and formulation on a specific model.
- Mixed-model trial order — from 3,000 pcs in total, testing several models, colours or formats in one shipment before committing.
- Stock items — from 500 pcs, in standard PR-series packaging with no artwork change.
Production lead time is typically 15–25 days after artwork and sample approval; repeat contract orders on an established specification run around 15 days. Sea freight from Shenzhen (Yantian / Shekou) and Nansha runs 7–15 days to Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Port Klang and Jakarta — so the full cycle from approval to landed stock is roughly five to seven weeks on a first order. The same terms are set out in our private label MOQ and lead time guide.

Batch traceability: what a wholesale shipment must prove
When you buy in bulk, you are not buying one product — you are buying a process that has to survive an audit. Every batch we ship is coded, tested and archived for 18 months with its own retained sample and Certificate of Analysis. No batch ships untested. That is the part of wholesale that never appears on a price list, and it is the part that fails during a customer complaint.
The factory behind the range is a 20,000 m² base with 8 automated filling lines, an in-house R&D laboratory and full batch traceability — see the factory page for the production and QC setup.

Documents that must arrive with a bulk order
A wholesale shipment without its document set is a customs delay waiting to happen. The set varies by destination, but the core is:
- Test reports — against the standard named on the product (GB/T 14683, JC/T 485, GB 16776, etc.), from the batch supplied.
- Certificate of Analysis — for the batch, not a sample batch.
- FORM E — for ASEAN importers claiming preferential duty rates.
- Packing list and commercial invoice — matching the batch codes on the cartons.
- Safety data sheet — for the destination market.
How to read the test report side of this is covered in the buyer’s guide to lab reports, and the ASEAN duty certificate is explained in the FORM E guide.
How to qualify a wholesale dealer before the first order
- Ask for the model list by series — four series, cure systems named, not “assorted silicone”.
- Ask the MOQ by order type — OEM, mixed trial, stock; not one flat figure.
- Ask for a batch COA from a recent shipment — not a sample report.
- Ask for the retained-sample policy — 18 months archiving means they can defend a batch.
- Ask for the document set per destination — FORM E, SDS, test reports, CoA.
We sell direct from the Zhongshan factory to importers, distributors and private label brands, with the MOQ terms above and full documentation on every shipment. Send the draft clause and the joint detail, and our technical team will confirm whether the specified grade fits the substrate and the movement before the document is issued — it is faster to resolve on paper than after the material has been ordered.
Wholesale neutral silicone sealant: what the term should include
When a buyer asks for wholesale neutral silicone sealant, three things are usually being priced at once and should be separated in the quotation:
- The grade — neutral cure covers oxime and alkoxy systems, and they behave differently on metals, stone and coated panels. A wholesale neutral silicone sealant quote that does not name the system is quoting a category, not a product.
- The format — 300 mL cartridge or 590 mL sausage. The sausage is cheaper per litre but needs a bulk gun; the cartridge suits retail and small contractors.
- The packaging — your artwork on the cartridge, your label on the outer carton, and the language of the safety text. Artwork approval is what sets the lead time, not production.
Our neutral weatherproof grades — PR-666 and PR-638 — are supplied in both formats with a 12-month shelf life from production date and non-hazardous transport classification, which keeps ocean freight documentation simple. Private label runs start at 1,000 pcs per model with mixed models from 3,000 pcs.
